How does gift membership work?

You can purchase a subscription as a gift for someone else. Visit our website, select the format and gift duration (3, 6, or 12 months).

After placing your order, you will receive an automated email containing a link and a unique promo code to forward to the gift recipient.

How does the gift recipient redeem their gift?

The automated confirmation email contains a link that the recipient can click on to redeem their gift. This will take them to a dedicated redeem page with their code pre-populated. Alternatively, they can go to https://www.roughtrade.com/gb/club and enter the code in the email at checkout.

Can I buy gift membership for someone who already has a subscription to the Club?

Yes, but in order to redeem their promotional code they will need to cancel their current subscription and re-subscribe, entering the promo code at checkout.
