Who this applies to
This article is for customers placing or managing online orders through Rough Trade.
It explains when you can check out as a guest, how to access your account, and where to find order details after purchase.
Do I need an account to place an order?
If you do not already have a Rough Trade account, you can place an order as a guest.
If you already have an account with us, you will be asked to sign in before continuing to checkout. This helps keep your orders connected to one account and makes it easier to view order details later.
How to sign in to your account
To access your account:
Go to the Account link on roughtrade.com, or visit
account.roughtrade.com/login.Enter the email address you use for Rough Trade orders.
Follow the sign-in steps shown on screen.
Depending on the sign-in option available to you, you may be asked to enter a one-time code sent to your email, or sign in using Shop.
Where to find your orders
Once signed in:
Go to My Account.
Select Orders.
Choose the order you want to view.
Your order page may show details such as the items ordered, payment information, fulfilment progress, and shipping status.
If your order has shipped, you will also receive a dispatch email. Where tracking is available, the tracking link will be included in that email and may also be shown in your account.
If you checked out as a guest
If you placed an order as a guest, use the order confirmation email we sent after checkout. This email includes a direct link to your order details.
You can also create or access an account later using the same email address you used at checkout. This may allow previous orders placed with that email address to appear in your account.
If you cannot find an order
If an order is missing from your account, check that you are signed in with the same email address used at checkout.
If you still cannot find it, contact us through the chat on our website. This is the quickest way for us to look into it. You can also email [email protected].
Please include:
your order number
the email address used at checkout
a brief description of what you are trying to find or manage
