Where to find your shipping cost
Shipping rates are shown at checkout before you complete your order.
The options available can vary depending on:
the items in your basket
the size and weight of the parcel
your delivery address
the value of your order
where the items are shipping from
whether the items can be shipped together
Some Rough Trade products ship from the UK, Germany or the US. If your order includes items shipping from different locations, they may be sent separately and separate shipping charges may apply.
UK shipping
UK delivery options are shown at checkout.
Domestic UK parcels may be sent using Royal Mail, depending on the size, weight and service selected.
Royal Mail delivery estimates after dispatch are:
First Class / 24 service: usually 1-2 working days
Second Class / 48 service: usually 2-3 working days
These are carrier guidelines, not guaranteed delivery dates.
Second Class Royal Mail shipping is free for UK orders over £75, provided the items can be shipped together and do not exceed the Royal Mail weight limit. If your order qualifies, the free option will appear automatically at checkout.
Free UK shipping does not include First Class Royal Mail services.
US shipping
US shipping options are shown at checkout.
Shipping rates vary depending on the items in your basket, your address and the value of your order.
For US customers, standard shipping is free for qualifying orders over $100, provided the items can be shipped together and do not exceed the USPS weight limit. Orders containing products from our Hi-Fi Equipment collection are excluded from this offer.
If your order qualifies, the free shipping option will appear automatically at checkout.
Free US shipping does not include Hi-Fi Equipment, international shipments or expedited delivery services.
EU shipping
EU shipping options are shown at checkout.
Rough Trade EU ships from Berlin. Shipping rates vary depending on the items in your basket, your delivery address, and whether the items can be shipped together.
Because Rough Trade EU orders ship from within the EU, the EU de minimis customs change (3€ per product for orders under 150€) should not create new customs charges for EU customers ordering items that ship from Rough Trade EU. The change applies to low-value consignments imported into the EU from outside the EU.
Free shipping may be available for eligible EU orders. Current site messaging states that free shipping applies for Rough Trade Club members in Germany and Austria, or on orders over 100 € in Germany, where the order qualifies. If your order is eligible, the free shipping option will appear automatically at checkout.
Tracked global shipping is available on all products where supported by the carrier.
Delivery estimates are shown before you complete your order. Once shipped, Rough Trade EU allows 15 business days for deliveries within Germany and 30 business days for international shipments before treating an order as delayed.
International shipping outside the UK, US and EU
International shipping options are shown at checkout.
International parcels are shipped according to carrier guidelines and may be passed to your local national mail service for final delivery.
Tracked services are shown clearly at checkout where available. Untracked services may be available for some countries at a lower cost, but we recommend choosing a tracked service wherever possible.
International orders may also be subject to import duties, taxes or local handling charges, depending on your location and the shipping option selected. These charges are set by local authorities or carriers and are the customer’s responsibility if applied.
Delivery estimates and dispatch times
Delivery estimates begin once your order has been dispatched.
Items that are already available in our warehouse are usually dispatched within 1-2 days of the order being placed.
Some items are ordered from suppliers and may take 5-10 days to arrive before they can be dispatched. These products are marked on the product page with messaging such as “Usually dispatched in 5-10 days.”
If your order includes a pre-order item, your order may be held and shipped together once the final item is available.
Once your order has shipped, we will email you with dispatch details and any available tracking information.
