What is Rough Trade Club?

Rough Trade Club is a subscription service that gives you exclusive access to limited edition vinyl, merchandise, discounts, and special events. Currently, we offer the Entry tier for US residents.

Who can join?

  • Must be a US resident

  • You can only have one active membership per person

  • Must provide accurate registration information

How do I sign up?

Visit roughtrade.com and select your membership tier and billing frequency. You'll need to provide accurate registration information and a valid payment method.

Entry Membership ($10/month)

Perfect for US music lovers who want exclusive perks and discounts:

Shipping & Online Benefits:

  • Free US domestic shipping on all roughtrade.com orders

  • 10% off Rough Trade branded merchandise online

  • Early access to select products

  • Exclusive brand partner discounts

Event Access:

  • Early bird ticket access to select events

  • Access to sold-out events

New York Store Discounts:

  • 10% off at Rough Trade New York stores ('Above' and 'Below')


3. Pricing & Billing

How much does membership cost?

  • Entry: $10 per month (includes applicable sales tax)

What billing options do I have?

  • Monthly: Billed on sign-up date, then on the 1st of each month

  • Long-term options: Quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing available (billed upfront)

When will I be charged?

  • Monthly subscribers: Charged on sign-up, then monthly on the 1st of each month

  • Extended periods: Full amount charged upfront on sign-up, auto-renewed on the same schedule

What if my payment fails?

We'll retry your payment automatically. If it continues to fail, your membership may be suspended. We'll email you if there's a payment issue.


4. Managing Your Subscription

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel anytime by:

  1. Logging into your account dashboard at roughtrade.com

Important: Cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Are memberships refundable?

Generally no, except for our 7-day cooling-off period for new subscribers. You can cancel within 7 days of sign-up for a full refund, provided you haven't used any benefits (like accessing events or receiving items).

After the cooling-off period, no refunds are issued for partial months or unredeemed benefits.

What about extended subscriptions?

If you cancel a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual plan, your benefits continue through the prepaid period. No partial refunds are issued unless legally required.

What about accidental charges?

Contact our customer service team within 7 days for duplicate charges, accidental sign-ups, or technical errors.


5. Shipping & Delivery

Is shipping free?

Yes! All Entry members get free US domestic shipping on all roughtrade.com orders.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery times vary by location within the US. You'll get tracking details once your order ships.

What if my item doesn't arrive or is damaged?

Contact [email protected] with your order number. We'll investigate and arrange a replacement or refund at no cost.

How do I update my delivery address?

Log into your account at roughtrade.com and update your details. Keep this current to avoid delivery delays!

How do I keep my account secure?

  • Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

What if someone accesses my account without permission?

No, memberships are for individual use only and benefits cannot be transferred to others.

How do I find out about member events?

What does "early bird access" mean?

You get to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public, giving you the best chance to secure your spot.
