What is Rough Trade Club?

Rough Trade Club is a subscription service that gives you exclusive access to limited edition vinyl, merchandise, discounts, and special events. Choose from two membership tiers - Entry or Discovery - each with their own unique benefits.

Who can join?

  • Entry membership: Available to residents of UK, Channel Islands, USA, Germany, and Austria

  • Discovery membership: Available to residents of UK, Channel Islands, Germany, and Austria

  • You can only have one active membership per person

How do I sign up?

Visit roughtrade.com and select your preferred membership tier and billing frequency. You'll need to provide accurate registration information and a valid payment method.

  • Choose vinyl LP or CD format

Can I change my format preference?

Yes! Discovery members can switch between LP and CD by contacting customer service before your next billing cycle.


3. Pricing & Billing

How much does membership cost?

  • Entry: £9 per month

  • Discovery LP: £33 per month

  • Discovery CD: £15 per month

All prices include VAT where applicable.

What billing options do I have?

  • Monthly: Billed on the same date each month

  • Entry only: Quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing available (Entry tier only)

When will I be charged?

  • Monthly subscribers: Charged on sign-up, then monthly on the 1st of each month

  • Extended periods: Full amount charged upfront on sign-up

What if my payment fails?

We'll retry your payment automatically. If it continues to fail, your membership may be suspended and you could miss deliveries. We'll email you if there's a payment issue.

Will prices ever change?

We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email if prices change.


4. Managing Your Subscription

How do I cancel my membership?

You can cancel anytime by:

  1. Logging into your account at roughtrade.com and visiting the Membership section

Important: Cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the next period.

Are memberships refundable?

No, memberships are non-refundable once a billing cycle begins. This applies to both monthly and extended period subscriptions. If you cancel mid-cycle, you'll keep your benefits until the end of that billing period.

What about accidental charges?

Contact our customer service team within 7 days for duplicate charges, accidental sign-ups, or technical errors.


5. Album of the Month (Discovery Members)

When will my album arrive?

Albums ship during the week before the official release date (typically the first Friday of the month). You'll receive tracking information once it's dispatched.

What if I don't want this month's album?

You can request an exchange for any item on roughtrade.com up to:

  • £25 value for LP subscribers

  • £10 value for CD subscribers

Contact customer service to arrange exchanges (subject to stock availability).

6. Shipping & Delivery

Is shipping free?

Yes! All members get free domestic shipping on roughtrade.com orders in the UK, Channel Islands, USA, Germany, and Austria.

How long does delivery take?

Orders typically arrive within 48 hours of dispatch. You'll get tracking details once your order ships.

What if my item doesn't arrive or is damaged?

Contact [email protected] within 7 working days with your order number. We'll investigate and arrange a replacement or refund at no cost.

How do I update my delivery address?

Log into your account at roughtrade.com and update your details in the Account section. Keep this current to avoid delivery delays!

How do I keep my account secure?

  • Use a strong, unique password

  • Don't share your login details

  • Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

What if someone accesses my account without permission?

Can I share my membership benefits?

No, memberships are for individual use only and benefits cannot be transferred to others.

How do I find out about member events?
